Dr. Ruth Glasser
Dr. Ruth Glasser comes to Naaleh High School after serving as the School Psychologist at the Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy. As a school psychologist she has experience providing individual support and guidance to students, faculty, and parents; as well as devising curricula and programs to address the students’ overall social and emotional development. Aside from her primary experience working with yeshiva day school and high school students, she has extensive experience working in a variety of settings, including community mental health centers, psychiatric hospitals, and residential treatment centers. She also taught AP Psychology at Maayanot High School, and taught on several NCSY summer programs, including Michlelet and SEG.
Dr. Glasser grew up in Los Angeles, California. She received her BA in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Child Clinical Psychology from St. John’s University. An avid sports fan, Dr. Glasser lives in Passaic with her family, and serves as the Rebbetzin of the Young Israel of Passaic-Clifton.
