Mrs. Elissa Chanales is a master teacher, with 20 years of experience in girls education. In addition to teaching a variety of Limudei Kodesh subjects, she has focused on supervising faculty, leading professional development, overseeing school-wide scheduling and fostering relationships with parents, teachers and students. She earned her Bachelor’s of Education and Teaching License from Michlalah Jerusalem College, and then went on to earn her M.Sc. from the Azrieli Graduate School of Education of Yeshiva University and continued to complete her doctoral coursework in School Administration. Mrs. Chanales has successfully participated in teacher mentor training through JNTP (Jewish New Teacher Project).

Mrs. Chanales comes to Naaleh after having taught at Ramaz, JEC, RYNJ, Fuchs Mizrachi School, and most recently her role as Assistant Principal at Chaviva High School in Cleveland, Ohio. Mrs. Chanales brings her impressive experience to our students and teachers, focusing on blending academic excellence while fostering sincere personal growth at Naaleh. Mrs. Chanales lives with her family in Teaneck.
